A ship’s-wheel reel, an anchor-chain wrap and a lantern at the tip. The storm lantern flickers and flashes over a fountain of embers and lantern smoke, with a glowing ring on the wheel and a sea-green wave ring, making it the loudest Storm & Ember rod; it has anchor-chain drag but shorter casts. It is never sold: it is a reward on the free track of the Captain’s Pass.

Unlocking it as your rod’s setup needs Storm Rod first. If you earn it before then, its look is yours at once and the setup activates once you own what comes before it.

Owning it also unlocks its look for good: wear it on any rod at the Rod Workshop’s effects stand. See Rod looks and colorways.
