A regal golden dragon fish, the Palace Arowana is armoured in huge coin-like scales of burnished gold, each rimmed in glowing gold with a jewel gleam. Glowing ruby scales crown its back, a ruby gem sits on its brow, and two long golden barbels jut forward from its steep upturned jaw above crimson fins with glowing gold rims. It is the signature catch of the Sunken Kingdom and bites only close in, never in the open sea around it; surface boils mark its hotspots, more often in rain. Hooked, it surges to the side with real power.
