Carved from moonlight, the Moonbeam Mola is a giant silver-lilac sunfish with a cratered, lunar skin and a huge glowing crescent moon on each flank. Its towering top and bottom fins are streaked with glowing moonbeam rays and scull from side to side as it swims, and the scalloped rim of its tail carries small glowing moons. It drifts through World’s Edge, where surface boils mark its hotspots and rain brings more of them up. A legendary catch, it hangs on with a heavy, stubborn pull.

How to catch it
Section titled “How to catch it”- Look for ripples on the water: they mark a hotspot where Moonbeam Mola and its kind bite more often.
- It bites more in rain.
- It bites only inside an island’s ring, never out in the open sea.
- When it fights back it mostly dives. Slow your reeling down without stopping, then reel it in while it rests.
