Two pairs of huge white cloud wings carry the Cloudfin through the spray, billowing round-lobed fins painted like cumulus clouds with a glowing sun-gold silver lining. Its sleek sky-blue flying-fish body is streaked with white wind lines, and the long lower lobe of its forked tail is made for skimming the water. It is the signature catch of World’s Edge and bites only close in, never in the open sea around it; crystal sparkle on the surface marks its hotspots, more often in fog. Hooked, it darts from side to side.

How to catch it
Section titled “How to catch it”- Look for sparkles on the surface: they mark a hotspot where Cloudfin and its kind bite more often.
- It bites more in fog.
- It bites only inside an island’s ring, never out in the open sea.
- When it fights back it mostly runs to the side. Slow your reeling down without stopping, then reel it in while it rests.
