Shell Banks

Pale, milky aqua water over shell sand, with long sandbanks lying just under or breaking the surface. On Shellback Atoll the rocks are giant seashells the size of huts, the sand is pearly and hermit crabs scuttle about, while a colossal conch hums in the wind over the clicking of crabs. Sandpipers flock over the banks, and the Pearl Tide is its water event. Expect the Crystal Clam and the Mantis Striker, and the Hermit King, a crab in a giant crowned shell, as its signature fish.
