Wrapped in a rippling skirt fin, this broad cuttlefish has a glowing rim that shifts from teal to violet to pink. Its back wears a bold zebra pattern that slides from reef olive at the head to magenta at the rear, glowing spots flicker along its flanks, and little horns rise over its W-shaped pupils. It prowls the floor of the Moonglow Reef behind bubble trails and surges in sudden bursts once hooked.

How to catch it
Section titled “How to catch it”- Look for rising bubbles: they mark a hotspot where Mimic Cuttlefish and its kind bite more often.
- The weather doesn’t change how often it bites.
- When it fights back it mostly runs to the side. Slow your reeling down without stopping, then reel it in while it rests.
As a pet
Section titled “As a pet”A Mimic Cuttlefish can hatch from a Rare Coral Egg. As a pet its perk is Scholar. See Pets and Eggs.
