One of the mythic giants of the Outer Waters, the Storm Leviathan is a serpent sea-dragon wreathed in storm. A swept mane of storm blades flares behind its skull, a tall scalloped sail with electric spines runs down its back, and bold forked lightning glows along both flanks to a lightning-bolt tail blade. It rises in Leviathan Bones, where a huge spout and whirlpool marks its hotspots, and storms make it bite more often. Landing one takes a strong rod and patience, as it makes long, deep runs.

How to catch it
Section titled “How to catch it”- Look for water spouts: they mark a hotspot where Storm Leviathan and its kind bite more often.
- It bites more in storms.
- It bites only inside an island’s ring, never out in the open sea.
- When it fights back it mostly dives. Slow your reeling down without stopping, then reel it in while it rests.
