Thunder Straits

Steel grey-green, choppy water full of whitecaps and hard to see into, under a thunderhead that never leaves, with thunder, howling wind and waterspouts wandering across it. Thunderhead Rocks is black basalt, spray-slick and full of blowholes, and a lone basalt spire there is struck by lightning again and again. Storm petrels skim the waves, and the Waterspout Swarm is its water event. Its fish are storm fish like the Thunderhead Grouper, Storm Piranha and Tempest Swordfish, and its signature is the Sparkjaw, whose jaw crackles with static.
