Ivory bone plates shield the whole head of the Bonejaw, split by seams that glow a ghostly green around burning green eye sockets and a shearing beak of hooked bone fangs. Behind that armour is a dark slate-teal shark body with a tall triangular dorsal and a powerful shark tail, the look of a fish from long before there were boats. It is the signature catch of Leviathan Bones and bites only close in, never in the open sea around it; look for a huge spout and whirlpool. A legendary brute, it hangs on with a heavy, grinding pull.

How to catch it
Section titled “How to catch it”- Look for water spouts: they mark a hotspot where Bonejaw and its kind bite more often.
- The weather doesn’t change how often it bites.
- It bites only inside an island’s ring, never out in the open sea.
- When it fights back it mostly dives. Slow your reeling down without stopping, then reel it in while it rests.
