Two glowing smasher clubs held up like a boxer’s fists mark this neon-green armoured mantis shrimp, their striking faces burning white-hot. Red-edged plates line its back, its oblong stalk eyes are split by a glowing rainbow band, and its broad spined tail fan carries blue eye-spots. Small but fierce, it hides on the floor of the Shell Banks behind bubble trails and darts hard when hooked.

- The weather doesn’t change how often it bites.
- When it fights back it mostly runs to the side. Slow your reeling down without stopping, then reel it in while it rests.
As a pet
Section titled “As a pet”A Mantis Striker can hatch from a Epic Coral Egg. As a pet its perk is Spotter. See Pets and Eggs.
