Toy rod: a bit wobbly

A cheap, chunky kids’ rod in bright yellow and red plastic, with a foam grip and a toy reel with a big round knob. It pulls a little harder than the Driftwood Rod, but its toy build makes it a bit wobbly to control. It is the first upgrade you can buy at the Rod Workshop’s tree table.

In the rod tree

Unlocking it as your rod’s setup needs Driftwood Rod first. If you earn it before then, its look is yours at once and the setup activates once you own what comes before it.

It leads to Graphite Rod, Crabclaw Rod, Sea Glass Rod, Lighthouse Rod, Kelp Whip.
