This squat, barnacle-crusted crab holds a glowing amber lantern up in one oversized claw, the bulb hanging in a dark bronze cage. Its chunky orange armour is mottled with rust, with pale barnacle clusters and green algae on its back. It lives among the Kelpwood’s rocks, where bubble trails mark its hotspots, and it digs in with a heavy, stubborn pull when hooked.
