Picture a living charcoal log: the Cinder Eel’s satin-black hide is split into blocky cracks that glow ember-orange from inside, and the odd block still burns like a hot coal. A licking flame frill runs the whole length of its back and belly, and charred fangs guard a molten throat. It winds through the Cinder Sea close to the steaming vents. On the line it twists away to the side in strong surges.

How to catch it
Section titled “How to catch it”- Look for steam over the water: they mark a hotspot where Cinder Eel and its kind bite more often.
- The weather doesn’t change how often it bites.
- When it fights back it mostly runs to the side. Slow your reeling down without stopping, then reel it in while it rests.
