Burnished copper scales catch the light like a handful of new coins, and a bold teal racing stripe runs from the gill to the forked tail. A spiky dorsal crown edged in teal sits on a sleek, perch-like body built for speed. One of the most common catches in the Sunlit Shallows, it cuts sideways the moment it feels the hook, and diving seabirds give its hotspots away.
