A colossal plated head shield, a cavernous jaw of bony shear-fangs and a throat glowing from the deep make the Deepwater Colossus look more like a sunken fortress than a fish. Tiny glowing eyes sit deep under its heavy brow, and rows of cyan lights run along its overlapping slab armour. It shares Leviathan Bones with the Storm Leviathan, and a huge spout and whirlpool on the surface marks its hotspots. Hooked, this mythic brute is pure weight, hauling downward with a crushing pull.

How to catch it
Section titled “How to catch it”- Look for water spouts: they mark a hotspot where Deepwater Colossus and its kind bite more often.
- The weather doesn’t change how often it bites.
- It bites only inside an island’s ring, never out in the open sea.
- When it fights back it mostly dives. Slow your reeling down without stopping, then reel it in while it rests.
As a pet
Section titled “As a pet”A Deepwater Colossus can hatch from a Mythic Outer Egg or a Celestial Outer Egg. As a pet its perk is Anchor. See Pets and Eggs.
