Built like a battle-crab, it wears riveted slate-iron armour whose seams glow as if fresh from the forge. One huge rust-orange crusher claw and a smaller cutter claw sit below short, fierce eyestalks and a toothed front edge. Look for its bubble trails in the Kelpwood, and get ready for a heavy, stubborn pull toward the bottom.

How to catch it
Section titled “How to catch it”- Look for rising bubbles: they mark a hotspot where Ironclad Crab and its kind bite more often.
- The weather doesn’t change how often it bites.
- When it fights back it mostly dives. Slow your reeling down without stopping, then reel it in while it rests.
