Glowing constellations cover the flanks of the Starlight Lanternfish, bright four-point stars joined by fine lines of light, like a star chart that learned to swim. A short lure arches from its forehead to a blazing star bulb, above huge glowing eyes and a big upturned jaw. It lives in Starfall Deep, where glowing water marks its hotspots and fog brings more of them. On the line it darts quickly from side to side.

How to catch it
Section titled “How to catch it”- Look for a glow under the water: they mark a hotspot where Starlight Lanternfish and its kind bite more often.
- It bites more in fog.
- When it fights back it mostly runs to the side. Slow your reeling down without stopping, then reel it in while it rests.
