A heavy-headed brute with a hide like cracked basalt, the Emberjaw glows lava-orange through every crack. Its huge underbite is crowded with fangs, and a small ember lure hangs in front of its furnace-bright eyes. It hunts the hot water of the Cinder Sea, so warm vents steaming on the surface are a good place to cast. Once hooked, it pulls hard and heads for the bottom like a dropped anchor.

How to catch it
Section titled “How to catch it”- Look for steam over the water: they mark a hotspot where Emberjaw and its kind bite more often.
- The weather doesn’t change how often it bites.
- When it fights back it mostly dives. Slow your reeling down without stopping, then reel it in while it rests.
