A crown of golden spires set with a glowing amethyst gem rings the base of the Crown Kraken’s tall violet mantle, which is banded with glowing runes. Eight arms with glowing sucker rows spread like a star around its beak, and two long hunting tentacles end in spiked clubs. This mythic ruler of the Sunken Kingdom gives itself away with a huge spout and whirlpool on the surface. Hooked, it makes long, deep runs that test any captain’s rod.

How to catch it
Section titled “How to catch it”- Look for water spouts: they mark a hotspot where Crown Kraken and its kind bite more often.
- The weather doesn’t change how often it bites.
- It bites only inside an island’s ring, never out in the open sea.
- When it fights back it mostly dives. Slow your reeling down without stopping, then reel it in while it rests.
