Where a dorsal fin should be, the Prismback grows a ridge of tall clear crystal prisms that split light into rainbows, and the colours spill down its pearly flanks. Its sturdy steel-blue body has cut-gem scales across the shoulders and glass-clear fins with prismatic rims. As the signature catch of Glasswater, it shows itself with crystal sparkle on the surface, more often in fog. Hooked, it digs in and pulls down like an anchor.

How to catch it
Section titled “How to catch it”- Look for sparkles on the surface: they mark a hotspot where Prismback and its kind bite more often.
- It bites more in fog.
- When it fights back it mostly dives. Slow your reeling down without stopping, then reel it in while it rests.
