Rows of faceted meteorite scutes run along the back and flanks of the Meteor Sturgeon, each one hiding a molten ember core. Beneath them are a cratered bronze-iron hide, a flat shovel snout with whisker barbels and a shark-like upswept tail, the look of something far older than the harbor. It noses through the Ashen Sea near warm vents that steam at the surface. Bring a strong rod, because it fights with a heavy, dragging pull.

How to catch it
Section titled “How to catch it”- Look for steam over the water: they mark a hotspot where Meteor Sturgeon and its kind bite more often.
- The weather doesn’t change how often it bites.
- When it fights back it mostly dives. Slow your reeling down without stopping, then reel it in while it rests.
As a pet
Section titled “As a pet”A Meteor Sturgeon can hatch from a Epic Storm Egg. As a pet its perk is Anchor. See Pets and Eggs.
